Some of these I'm unsure of having heard or not, but I left them unbolded out of caution's sake. ( But screw that magazine anyway, j0? )
In other news, my roommate has a small but respectable collection of doujinshi she's selling off soon. C-chan and I kinda got first pick, but there's lots of good stuff left. If anyone's interested in doujinshi, tell me, and I'll ask her what kinda of prices she's charging and we'll see about working something out before they hit E-bay--or if she'd prefer to be able to get as much money off of them as she can, I can at least give anyone interested links as soon as they're available. She has books for the following:
Final Fantasy VII: A lot of VincentXCid (which my roommate may call, but she's twitchy about girly!Vincent, so maybe not) and VincentXCloud, some gen stuff, a few Turks ones (TsengxRufus and RenoxRufus), etc.
Final Fantasy VIII: A pretty good mix of any number of things, including one great Edea/Cid one. C-chan may pillage the Zell-heavy stuff, though.
Evangelion: Some KaworuxShinji, some gen.
Trigun: I didn't flip through them much, as I'm not interested enough in Trigun to want doujinshi for it, but there's a crapload of WolfwoodxVash.
X: One that's a really good impression of CLAMP's early artwork, a Subaru/Kamui one, a little miscellanous one, and two little black ones the size of thin tankoban manga that are, oddly enough, squarely centered on Daisuke.aquariankiss, kerikeri, who was the person on DOS who was so wild about Daisuke? Ammie? It seems like I wanted to friend her at one point, but neither she nor I were on LJ at the time, and I don't keep up with the old X circle of people--I'd like to tell her, though, if anyone else knows how to get in touch with her.
Miscellaneous:One each for Basara, Escaflowne, and Maze.
That's it. I snagged the one Kenshin one--there might be a few other series she has one or two things for that I'm forgetting; I'll edit this if that turns out to be the case. Again, for any more detailed info, just hit the little pencil-and-pad button down there and ask away.
